Thermowood

Sahakuutio produces 5000 m3 of Thermowood annually, the main wood species is pine. We mainly produce Thermowood for end-processors, but we can also offer processed Thermowood products. Our Thermowood production started in 1998, so we have years of experience in the Thermowood process and the raw material needed for it.

We always produce the raw material for Thermowood production at our own saw mill, which means that our Thermowood quality remains good and stable. As a smaller producer, we want to make sure that our customers can always buy high quality products from us. Over the years we have sold Thermowood products under Ekosampo brand. We export more than 90 % of our Thermowood capacity, through this we are developing a valuable product from Thermowood for interior design and other construction around the world.
